Souffleuse à neige sans fil Greenworks PRO, 20 pouces 80 V (Outil seulement)

Après seulement quelques utilisations, je ne suis plus capable d'orienter la direction de la neige propulsée, comme si le mécanisme est cassé, mauvaise conception. Incapable de contacter le SAV, c'est jamais libre.

I have a large driveway. The battery didn’t die. It did a great job.

J’avais vu les différente revus et je pensais pas que la souffleuse étais aussi performante.

It could have a bit more power, but when you pair it with a 4amp hour battery you can go for 40 to 45 minutes easily. I only have a carport so have to bring it back indoors afterwards. So for requiring no cord or gas or oil it's great.

Omg……. I Love it!!! Pretty light weight. Bought it for 2 yrs and first time using it. I was surprise how powerful when comparing to my old gasoline one. I had the 80V 2Ah battery from the 12” wide hand held one. When fully charged it could shovel an area 1.5 car x 2.5 car driveway using this 20” wide machine and it was wet snow. My driveway was a double garage. I always wanted to buy an extra battery because I knew this battery won’t be enough to finish my driveway. So the plan is I’ll get the 80V 5Ah soon and get ready for more snow. If the machine design can make the rear wheels moving as well would be a great help when shovelling. Yes, is expensive but worth to get one even use only once a year. At least much less chance to hurt yourself. I have heard a lot of cases ppl got hurt after shovelling which is forever pain to your body. Cheers!!!

It worked very well. The first heavy snowfall of the year and I managed to clean a very large driveway myself! Battery lasted till I was done and you can see how big my driveway is. I wouldn’t let it get too deep as it may struggle at that point. Lightweight easy to use. The rotating shoot was fantastic and liked the way the light lit up the area. I highly recommend especially for a woman.

I already had some experience with a similar product, but that was called Kobalt and it worked perfectly for 2 years until its battery died. Until then I was really happy with it and could clear my driveway with a single battery charge. This one looks very similar to that one, but for some reason its battery depletes a bit earlier than my previous Kobalt one to the point that I had to buy a spare battery for this unit so I could finish clearing my driveway. And buy the way, Greenworks battery, while looking very similar to the Kobalt one, does not fit the Kobalt charger and vise versa.

The snowblower went through 3+ feet of snow easily and quickly! It's light weight and very quiet. Don't believe the negative reviews. I was worried when I purchased this because of some of the reviews. I'm glad I went ahead with this purchase. The only downside would be the battery time on a heavy snow day. On a regular snow day I can finish a 6 car driveway, plus a backyard on one charge. On a heavy 3 feet of snow day it takes 3 charges. Fortunately the charger recharges the battery very fast.

Right now it's Monday morning, after a weekend where we got 12.4 inches of snow. Corner lot, big stretch of sidewalk and two cars' worth of driveway. I had my doubts that a battery-powered snow thrower could handle that kind of thing but it held up really well, and pretty much saved my back from being wrecked.The 40v greenworks mower can handle our grass in the summer, but an extra battery was a life-changer. I expect it will be the same for snow. Hopefully the 4 Ah battery is a little heftier. In light conditions with the 2 Ah, I can get the sidewalk and about half of driveway done before needing to get the shovel out while the battery recharges. This weekend was not light stuff, and the battery was constantly on the charger. By the end of Sunday, to make one last pass with a full battery I got everything done in one trip. But that was the third trip out of the day to make things easy.I'm not complaining. We're talking about clearing the driveway and all the slush the plows have dumped from the street on top of normal snow, so it's not cleanest job. This light machine got the job done, and does it without having to worry about 2-cycle oil and smelling like gas fumes. Positives that make being patient with battery-draining conditions worth it. I'd much rather deal with greenworks' limitations vs pull-starts and going to get more gas. Go green!

The test of a snow blower is weather (sic) it works.After reviewing YouTube demos by real people, I bought one on Amazon. At the first light dusting, it didn't work. Customer service had me take it to an authorized repair shop. Two weeks later, it was declared dead on arrival. The company sent me a new one 3 weeks later. It arrived just in time for a couple of real storms.- I have about 3,100 square feet of flat pavement.- It cleared off a couple of 2-4 inch dusters and 12 inch wet blizzard snow by making cleaning passes at 7 inches and 5 inches- I used 1 battery for the light stuff and 3 for the heavy deep snow- The batteries recharge quickly, as advertised. For heavier snow places, get two batteries to do it all in one go.- It does not clean to the pavement, but it gets down to a safe walk way with just a coating of fine snow- It should not be used over rough stuff like ice or clumps of leaves- It is VERY quiet- Because it doesn't heat up, snow will accumulate on the snow blower - it doesn't affect performance, it just looks white as ....- It is light enough for carrying up and down steps, much like the old small 2 cycle blowers - this is a plus for people who can't haul heavy equipment.- It has LED lights for night work - for those people who really like to get at the white stuff and don't want to wake the neighbors- One doesn't have to mess with gas- There are no cords to tangle with- Like most snow blowers, steps are still best done by a shovelSummary: If it works in MN, chances are it will work in most snowy places in the US and in much of southern Canada. Can it be better? Yes, by cleanly reaching the pavement, like the gas ones can. But really: no gas, no cords, light weight, quiet and best of all - it does throw the snow so you don't have to use a shovel (except on the steps).Update Feb 20, 2019 Oh, boy. This update is from a year of record breaking snowfall. I am pleased to report that my wife announced, in 2018, that this purchase was the best Christmas gift of the year a year after we got it.And now, with a record winter of snow, even my gas driven snow blowing neighbors are impressed. It is a smaller unit, so taking snow off with more trips outside is a good idea. It is so light that the extra trips outside isn't a problem. We have lots of steps, it isn't good for that, but on slight inclines and flat surfaces it is great handling and efficient. It's a good idea to have a couple of batteries for continuous snow removal. It's a lot nicer swapping a battery than going to a gas station, filling a can, tipping a can of fuel into a tank and stressing about when end of season maintenance is in order.Would I do it again? You betcha.

I have the mower, and the leaf blower. We did have some decent regular snow in the east coast in the last two years, so, I said "why not" and bought the snowblower as well. I bought this back in October, so my wife was laughing at me all winter. Now Snowmageddon Jonas 2016 hit, and no one is laughing.This is the first and only snowblower I have owned. However, many of my neighbors do have gas powered blowers of various sizes. For what it is, cordless-electric, it did a fantastic job. We received about 28 inches of snow in my town and I have a double-wide 70ft long driveway. I knew that this guy could not handle the full load, so I made plans to go out at least halfway through the storm. Went out in the first morning, and the snow was already at 14~18 inches. So, I had to try multiple passes and use a system of shoveling the top layer of snow onto an already cleared area.I did shovel manually around one edge of the drive way to do this. In the end, it was way less work with the blower.The main benefit was that the blower actually throws the snow pretty far. I would say 10~15 feet. So, this way, I did not have to shovel the snow that I have already shoveled.I made two more trips outside after the initial shoveling. I think it was about 6~8 inches on the second time, and about 4~6 on the third. These were much easier and the blower handled it like a champ.In the first pass (14~18 inches), the battery was draining fast. Conversely, battery was lasting longer in the 6~8 inches of snow. However, I do have 4 batteries and two chargers from the mower and the leaf blower. This allowed me to keep clearing non-stop. Batteries were getting fully charged just as I was draining the last of the 4. Thinking back, I may have been able to clear continuously with three batteries, but, definitely would have needed two chargers.This entire time, I was looking at my two neighbors out with their gas blowers. One had a small single stage, and the other had the full-blown mega-hp dual stage self propelled unit. The small single stage was comparable to mine. Admittedly, it was still definitely stronger as it could handle more snow at once and not jam up. (The motor on mine did stop a couple times when I pressed it hard against a wall of snow). The bigger two-stage unit doesn't compare. That thing was impressive. But, I knew that when purchasing this blower. I was expecting to clear 'regular' amounts of snow. Not this apocalyptic blizzard amounts. Besides, it's small enough to store under some shelving in the garage, and I don't have to fiddle with the gas and carburetors.1/2 star off because I am not too confident about the plastic parts. The other 1/2 star for the battery life and power. (it can always be more!)

Bought the 80v snow shovel and my review was named all most. This one I named got it. It blows snow where you want it. Performance is excellent. My bride can easily handle this blower unlike my gas three stage which she can’t use. No fumes, easy to handle. Have a four car driveway and a 20 foot sidewalk. No worries. Using a 2ah battery and have been satisfied with the first use. Not sure if I will order a second battery. Probably depends on what other tools I will replace.

Light weight, easy to assemble and use

I have multiple 80V Greenworks tools bought thru Costco. When the chute on my Greenworks snowblower broke and I saw the design was improved for the new model, I decided to buy it from Greenworks as Costco were not selling them and I added a leaf blower for good measure. What a mistake! I ordered on Dec. 13 and according to Purolator and Greenworks written communications my tools have been sitting at the sort center a 1.5 hour drive from my home since Dec. 17th. These communications site weather issues, but there has been disruptive snow only on 1 day, Dec. 20th. When I use Greenworks chat service to follow-up - wow - I get ridiculous responses such as it went to Nova Scotia, then Winnipeg. Today they told me it was already delivered to my home. I have received nothing from Greenworks, but run around. Today is Dec. 31st. I have zero confidence in Greenworks order fulfillment process. I worry they are trying to run out the time on their 30 return policy. I will never order from them again.

The snow thrower is intermittent? One minute it works the next it shuts down?
This is a pro model so I expect better performance! I will be contacting greenworks for a solution.

Works great and easy to operate with no sore back

I watched FAR too many videos on electric snowblowers before deciding on this model.From my research the 80v model does have a fair amount more power than their 40v and 60v models, and this one comes with the fast charger which is nice as it can recharge to full in 30 minutes. To be this eliminates most of the concerns around battery life and big storms as I could come out mid storm, snowblow it all away, recharge the battery and go back out again 30 mins to an hour later just like I would anyway if i wanted to stay on top of a big storm by shoveling.You can go corded electric for far less, but for me with outlet location i would have to use about a 100 foot cord, and even then it would be going across my yard with snow piles and just seems like more of a pain than it would be worth.Build quality seems quite good, however I do have one issue - the listing shows that it is supposed to have a folding handle, and it definitely does not. Im not sure if they used the wrong images, maybe changed the product and i got a slightly older model or what, but a bit disappointing.Weight is about 35 points, so not super light but light enough to carry down my porch steps to use with ease, and has enough weight that it should hopefully help with pushing through the snow without just riding up and over it.I'll be using this mainly on my walkway and sidewalk, but may test it out on the gravel driveway by angling it up to not catch and throw rocks. We will see how well that works out this winter once I can actually use it on snowfall. I do plan to update this review as well with specifics on how well it handles larger snowfalls here in canada.

I like these greenworks things - they are well-made and not expensive for what they are. This one is very good - blows snow, is quiet, easy to push. Avoids the problems of gasoline devices (no smell, or flamable stuff). Loses ONE star because the battery is a different size to the greenworks lawnmower I have, so you can't interchange them.
