- Est-il difficile d’utiliser une pelle ou souffleuse à neige avec une rallonge ?
- Il faut un certain temps pour s'habituer à avoir un cordon attaché à votre pelle à neige. Nous vous suggérons de garder le cordon électrique aussi près que possible de la prise, puis de vous éloigner de la prise, de sorte que le mou reste toujours du côté duquel vous vous éloignez ou de mettre le cordon sur votre épaule. De cette façon, il est toujours derrière vous lorsque vous utilisez la pelle à neige, mais avec le temps, il deviendra plus facile à gérer.
- Puis-je utiliser ma pelle à neige sur une chaussée irrégulière ?
- Nous ne recommandons pas d'utiliser cette pelle à neige sur des surfaces irrégulières ou non pavées. Elle fonctionne mieux sur des surfaces lisses et plates. Comme l'opérateur travaille sur une surface irrégulière, l'outil devra être soulevé pour éviter tout contact. Le contact avec des zones non pavées endommagera le grattoir plus rapidement, plus l'appareil entrera en contact avec la surface.
- La pelle à neige est-elle dotée d'une goulotte ?
- La pelle à neige n'est pas équipée d'une goulotte; c'est un appareil léger, parfait pour les conditions de neige légères à modérées. Nous suggérons de diriger la neige vers l'avant ou vers l'un des côtés en poussant la pelle à neige vers l'avant de manière à ce qu'elle repose sur le grattoir. La direction de la neige change lorsque l'utilisateur tourne la pelle.
- Pourquoi ma pelle à neige ne démarre pas ?
- L'outil est équipé d'une fonction de démarrage de sécurité. L'appareil ne démarre que lorsque la séquence suivante est effectuée : 1. Vérifiez que la batterie est insérée dans le compartiment à batterie. 2. Appuyez sur le bouton de verrouillage et maintenez-le enfoncé. 3. This 80V snow shovel features a directional vane and variable speed control. Customers praised its power, saying it "quickly removes snow" and is "much better than regular shoveling." However, significant concerns include loud screeching motor noise, heavy weight, difficult-to-adjust directional knob, and scraper durability issues. Battery life varies.
I used an earlier version, but I wanted one with a directional vane and a variable speed motor. I was happy with the new features. I ordered it in the summer, so I didn't use it until December. When I tried it out, I was immediately disappointed. The motor makes such a screeching noise that it's unbearable. The earlier version didn't scream! I called customer service, they asked a bunch of irrelevant questions, then asked for a video. I sent them one and they said the noise is normal for this equipment. So there's nothing they can do to fix it. I deeply regret buying this snow shovel and I highly recommend NOT buying it unless you are deaf or want to bother your neighbors. The long-awaited adjustable directional vain knob is also difficult to turn, sometimes requiring two hands, especially when the machine is already covered in snow. They advised me to use a lubricant spray. Dear customer service, the spray on the knob is a bad idea - it makes it even more slippery, and the spray on the vanes is useless, the snow rubs off it in half a minute. It would be more useful if they finally replaced the knob with a longer lever so that you can change direction with one hand without any problem. And of course, they should at least make it available for purchase to replace the bad knob. That would be customer service.

It is very powerful but compact enough to fit in a tight area inside the garage. I have other products from Greenworks, all 80V, and I am happy with all of them. In total, I have four 80-volt batteries (three 2Ah and one 4Ah) with three charges. With them, I can continuously do whatever I am doing, lawing mown, shoveling snow, edge trimming, etc.
The Directional Vane is so helpful. It can be adjusted in three directions: 30 degrees to the left, 0 degrees (which shoots the snow forward, like in the clip I uploaded), and 30 degrees to the right.
Just be careful if you use it with a 4Ah battery. The handle becomes quite heavy, but it is still much lighter than shoveling the snow manually.

with the 2Ah battery it lasts about 20 min on full speed , driveway of 6 cars can be easily done with one full battery. a little bit on the heavy side, but much better than regular shoveling.
In many ways this snow shovel is a good product - it throws snow a good distance and could work well when there isn't enough snow for a full size snow blower. However, I'm giving it only one star because the scraper wore out in only a few uses. Obviously this was not designed to work without a wheel kit which would hold it off the ground. Both the replacement scraper and a wheel kit are sold out so now this tool which I've had less than two months is an expensive paperweight - useless at the time I need it most. I have several other Greenworks tools and have been happy with them but this is a huge disappointment.

Some benefits of the plastic scraper include protecting delicate surfaces, quieter operation, glides over uneven surfaces, and especially non-marking. First of all, I bought it directly because of the snow control channels and the dual speed control. I have the previous version, which is sometimes too strong, it carries the snow to the neighbor's lot. I am very disappointed with this new machine. Although the speed control is very useful, the directional vanes' controller is very bad, especially when the snow is frozen on the machine. It should actually be a LEVER, not a rounded button with a very small cam. The design must be changed. BUT the biggest problem is the terrible screeching of the engine! What have you done? This is completely wrong! I am ashamed to use it because of the annoyance of the neighbors and because I can only use it with earplugs! There is no noise problem in the previous version, but this one is terrible. If I could, I would send this s..t back to you! I don't even understand how this can be put into series production! Maybe time run out on the release date, you had to rush and couldn't fix it? This is such a shame for the brand name! I have a blower and the earlier version of the snow shovel, dozen of battery, so I did not want to change the brand, but I already regret it.

Easy to install, easy to use and love how quickly it removes the snow. I am 5.3 and a 110 pounds and there was no problems using this. Definitely recommend.
The only thing I would recommend is a brush attachment.
I just got this shovel in december 2024, owning it not quite a week and a half, its piled up already. Being the last display one at costco its probably been abused. They laughed when i asked to return it.Told me to contact greenworks as theyve returned a bunch of them so far. The battery lasts maybe 6-8 minutes, fully charged? something sounds like its grinding inside. I tried it on light snow then the directional knob fell off. Im seriously dissapointed in this product. Look elsewhere for snow shovels, no warranty!
